Practically Perfect Puppy

Do you want a well socialised, happy, relaxed and confident puppy who is a joy to have around and acts like you are the best thing in the world? A puppy that walks nicely on their lead, comes back when called and doesn't embarrass you by barking in public places?

Then you need to enrol onto my Practically Perfect Puppy training package.

I can help you to understand your puppy's behaviour better and teach you the tricks, tips and tools you need to raise the puppy you want and deserve. All of my training methods are reward based and ethical - that means no nasty punishments! Here's what's included:

1) Say my name. A trainer’s trick that will make everything easier

2) How to use cues, not commands (sit, down, settle)

3) Minding puppy’s mouth manners (ouch!)

4) Four on the floor – why staying put, pays

5) The super secrets to stress free walkies

6) Proper Puppy Socialisation – not Doggy Disneyland

7) Puppy Licence – asking for permission to play

8) don't call me fenton: building a reliable recall

9) Tips for surviving pup’s terrible teens

Practically Perfect Training takes place over 4 weeks and includes a written workbook to help you keep track of your puppy's progress. Sessions are delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, either in-person (subject to whether I cover your postcode) or online.

What's included?

3X 1 hour weekly training sessions (weeks 1-3 of training)

3X 15 minute telephone follow ups between sessions

1X 45 minute Puppy Quest (week 4 of training)

Exclusive bonus offer: Save 50% off your first and second Puppy Quest when you enrol onto Practically Perfect Puppy training

Services

Puppy Quests - 45 min. adventures

ideal for pups aged up to 6 months (£18)

What happens on my puppy's Quest?

1) Meeting your pup's basic needs. I will pick your pup up from your home and tend to their basic needs first, this may include feeding them lunch or letting them out to the loo.

2) Enrichment & basic training. Enrichment is my way of ensuring your puppy gets a chance to exercise their brain, as well as their body. Puppies are like sponges and soak up new information really easily. My enrichment activities are tailored to your puppy's breed and age - it's all about encouraging them to use their senses to promote calmness and their well-being. I also like to include some basic training exercises which are tailored to your pup's personality.

3) Exercise. The general rule of puppy exercise is 5 minutes per month, a rule which I like to stick to, to prevent any pain or discomfort through over-exercise. I like to offer a variety of different walking routes to prevent pup from getting bored.

4) Proper Puppy Socialisation. When you join my pack, I will provide you with a socialisation checklist. In each Puppy Quest, your pup and I will have a mission to check off as many socialisation items as we can.

EXCLUSIVE BONUS BOOKING OFFER: save 20% off your first 60 minute puppy quest WHEN YOU UPGRADE FROM 45 MINUTES. USE CODE "UPGRADE"

Puppy Quests - 60 min. adventures

ideal for pups aged 6 months and above (£20)

What happens on my puppy's Quest?

1) Meeting your pup's basic needs. I will pick your pup up from your home and tend to their basic needs first, this may include feeding them lunch or letting them out to the loo.

2) Enrichment.

3) Exercise & recall training. As your pup grows, their exercise needs will change. I understand the need for your pup to roam freely - but they will need to have a reliable recall first! So our walks will include a good splash of old fashioned exercise, and a big dollop of my reliable recall training.

4) Proper Puppy Socialisation. When you join my pack, I will provide you with a socialisation checklist. Once we've completed the list, we'll work towards your pup passing their Proper Puppy Socialisation assessment. Once they've aced their assessment, they are welcome to upgrade from Puppy Quests onto Buddy Quests (see below for more information).

Buddy Quests

FIND A BUDDY, FOR YOUR PUPPY (£25)

As a puppy owner, do you want to put yourself in a position where your dog is drawn to every other dog they see, making your walks a nightmare rather than a pleasure?

Didn't think so! This is why I have created Buddy Quests!

What is a Buddy Quest?

Buddy Quests are a safe way to offer your pup structured socialisation and a tonne of fun!

Buddy Quests are 75 minute adventures filled with frolics and fun. From enjoying sniffaris to playing in the park, the emphasis of Buddy Quests is very much on providing appropriate socialisation, enrichment and exercise for your puppy.

The first step is for me to play matchmaker and choose a Buddy to suit your puppy.
All Buddies are members of the MeeraPuppins pack. This means you can enjoy your day with peace of mind as your best friend will be in good hands.

Once your puppy has been perfectly matched to a Buddy, adventure awaits!

In order to join me & my pack on Buddy Quests, your puppy must have either:

- Successfully completed their Practically Perfect Puppy training

- Upgraded from Puppy Quests

If your puppy doesn't meet these requirements, please get in touch and we can book a Perfect Match assessment for your puppy.

As part of the assessment, I will ask you to complete a Perfect Match questionnaire and accompany me on a 45 minute practical assessment. There is a £25 fee for the assessment. If your pup is successful, I will make it my mission to find them a Buddy and they will officially become a member of my pack.

exclusive Bonus booking offer: reCOMMEND A FRIEND AND YOU CAN BOTH SAVE 20% OFF YOUR NEXT BUDDY QUEST. USE CODE "BUDDY"

Wagging tails!

Pickle

I get pretty excited when I see any two legged human as I'm just that friendly, but I get beyond happy when I get to see Meera! She's known me since I was a tiny pup and has helped me develop in all sorts of ways!  She's also given my hoomans some super useful advice about what I can and can't eat and how to keep me entertained when all I want to do is chew everything in sight.

She's my second mummy and I love it when she comes over, takes me for walks, looks after me for weekends and introduces me to other dogs who she knows I'll get on with.  I couldn't recommend a walker any more highly!

Although I love my Hoomum very much, I think I love Meera just as much. It takes me a little while to trust humans, but Meera made it easy for me to trust her. She took her time getting to know my quirks and what makes me tick. She knows when I'm anxious or in a situation I'm not comfortable in and quickly removes me and helps me overcome it.

My hoomum never gets worried about me when i'm with Meera, because she knows I'm in the best hands possible. Meera is very dear to us and we can't wait until we can be reunited again soon.

The moment I met Meera we clicked. I gave her the hug I save for special people and a big smooch. It was love at first sight. Meera took good care of me over a weekend and I had so much fun. Lots of zoomies with new friends, sniffy walks and long snuggly cuddles, as well as lots of games to help me learn new things.

Mum and Dad couldn't believe their eyes when I came home! We all love Meera a lot and I can't wait to see her again soon.
